My recent sculptural works embody a transdisciplinary approach, integrating elements from the construction industry, conservation, and science. By researching historical narratives and contemporary methods of using traditional materials in casting processes, I aim to create art that explores sustainable alternatives to concrete. This work was developed during the pandemic while I was pursuing a Master of Arts at Norwich University of the Arts. One of my pieces is currently displayed in an alcove at St Peter Hungate, a medieval church on Princes Street, Norwich, as part of the Edible East Project.
